Italian Fine Dining

The design of an Italian restaurant located within a historic convent, the concept embraces both the unique architectural legacy of the building and the timeless allure of Italy’s outdoor dining culture.

A key design element is the use of light, inspired by Italy’s relationship with warmth and illumination, especially during summer. The emotional impact of the design is shaped by the way light interacts with the architecture.

This duality of light and shade creates an interplay that both exposes and encloses the space.

The play of light and shadow creates a dynamic environment that changes with the time of day, inviting diners to return for different experiences.

Studio 4 Community Music Space

Project Prompt - Create a Community Space for Seattle

Seattle has a long history with music and performing arts, and the energy of that scene is still prominent in the city. However, there aren't many opportunities for people to gather and casually to share their music with others.

The project is a community center that focuses on a space for people to come and practice their music, interact with others.

PAVE x Fred Meyer Student Design Challenge - The Market

This student design challange focused on creating a space within Fred Meyer for customers to explore products, and see circulating installations. The space must easily rotate items and keep the customer engaged. Because of this prompt I decided to incorporate a PNW favorite - Farmers Markets. The display creates a fun market experience based on the season. It incorporates all of Fred Meyer’s product sections which customers love - food, recepies, clothing, and acessories. Whether you’re looking for a fun movie night in, or a day at the beach, its all within reach.

Museum Internship

Massa Lubrense - ArcheoClub D'Italia

In 1971 ARCHEOCLUB D'ITALIA was founded as an Archaeological Documentation Centre to preserve knowledge of the Past.

ArcheoClub D'Italia involves historical investigation, and bringing attention back to these archives locally.

“...to always protect the cultural and environmental heritage of the area.”

I shared my time at this internship with my supervisor Stefano the President of ArcheoClub, my school supervisor Dominico, my classmate from the states Jenna, and many co-workers.

Our task was to create a museum space in the headquarters of the historic building they reside in so members of the community can enjoy the rich history of the area.
